We are so happy to be able to welcome you back to the Wildlife Centre. We know things are going to feel a bit different, so we've put together some information for you to explore before you visit and find out what changes we have been making to help keep you safe.

Is Camperdown Wildlife Centre open?

Yes, we are open. We've missed our visitors and can't wait to welcome you.

What will your opening times be?

March to September

10.00am – 4.30pm daily

(last admission 3.45pm)

October to February

10.00am – 3.30pm daily

(last admission 2.45pm)

Can I buy items in your shop?

Yes.

Can I still visit even though I haven't booked?

Yes, booking is no longer necessary.

Will the bear broch and other indoor areas be open?

All inside houses including the bear broch will remain closed for your safety as social distancing is not possible.

Can I bring a buggy, wheelchair or mobility scooter?

Yes to all.

Will car parking change?

There are no changes to the car park.

Where do I find hand washing or hand sanitiser facilities?

There is a hand sanitising unit at the front door plus toilets in the main foyer and when exiting the centre. There are additional hand sanitisers through out the zoo and a final one when leaving the Centre.

Will toilet facilities be open?

Toilets will be available on entry to the Wildlife Centre and exit.

Will we have to wear face coverings to visit the centre?

You must also wear face coverings when you are indoors in our entrance building.

Can I bring a group to the centre?

Visitors should follow Scottish Government guidelines relating to outdoor gatherings.

Can I still use cash at the centre?

Yes, cash and cards excepted.

Can I book an animal experience at the moment?

The animal experiences are not on offer at the moment

Will the café be open?

Yes, the café is open.

Can we bring a picnic?

Picnics are allowed on the lawn areas provided that visitors ensure social distancing.
