We are so happy to be able to welcome you back to the Wildlife Centre. We know things are going to feel a bit different, so we’ve put together some information for you to explore before you visit and find out what changes we have been making to help keep you safe.
Book your visit
Once we open our gates, you’ll need to let us know you are visiting by calling 01382 431811 to book your slot. Lines will be open on (insert day here) between 10am and 1pm and 1.30pm to 4pm. Calling outside these times will not result in a booking.
Please choose your day carefully, due to high demand, we won’t be able to amend your ticket booking once purchased.

Is Camperdown Wildlife Centre open?
The Wildlife Centre will re-open on Monday 29 June, 2020 at 10am. We've missed our visitors and can't wait to welcome you. We ask that ALL visitors book their visit in advance.
How do I book?
Visitors will have to phone on 01382 431811 to book a slot. These slots for entry are at 15 minute intervals from 10am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4pm. The phone line will only be manned between 10am and 4pm. Phoning out with these hours will not result in a booking. Payment is by credit / debit card only.
What will your opening times be?
10am to 4.30pm. Last entry 3.45pm
What changes have you made at the centre to ensure we can visit safely?
The Wildlife Centre is operating a one way system. Entry will be through the main entrance and visitors will be guided around the Centre by arrows and dots (2 metres apart). Fences will block some areas to ensure the one way system works.
Can I buy items in your shop?
Not at the moment.
Can I still visit even though I haven't booked?
Unfortunately not. The booking system is essential to maintain social distancing and keeping our visitors safe.
Will the bear broch and other indoor areas be open?
All inside houses including the bear broch will remain closed for your safety as social distancing is not possible.
Can I bring a buggy, wheelchair or mobility scooter?
Yes to all.
Will car parking change?
There are no changes to the car park.
Where do I find hand washing or hand sanitiser facilities?
There is a hand sanitising unit at the front door plus toilets in the main foyer and when exiting the centre. There are additional hand sanitisers through out the zoo and a final one when leaving the Centre.
Will toilet facilities be open?
Toilets will be available on entry to the Wildlife Centre and exit.
Will we have to wear face coverings to visit the centre?
Based on the current government guidance and advice, you won’t be required to wear a face mask when visiting the Wildlife Centre.
Can I bring a group to the centre?
You can come as a group of up to five people (ie a family) or a group of eight from three households as laid out by the Scottish Government.
Can I still use cash at the centre?
We are only accepting credit / debit card payments at the moment.

Can I book an animal experience at the moment?
The animal experiences are not on offer at the moment
Will the café be open?
Initially, the café will not be open.
Can we bring a picnic?
Picnics are allowed on the lawn areas provided that visitors ensure social distancing.
